    Marissa has accumulated a vast knowledge of the dental field since the beginning of her career in 2005. She has experience with various specialties, including Orthodontics, Sleep Apnea, and TMD, and assists with restorative and surgical procedures. As our Head Dental and Specialty Assistant, she plays a vital role in fostering the supportive team culture of our practice. Outside of work, she takes advantage of the outdoors and enjoys cooking, baking, reading, live music, and spending time with her daughter and two dogs.

    I joined the dental field back in 2013. I'm a mother of three boys. I enjoy taking nature walks with my boys and some quiet time at Barnes and Noble.

    I was raised in Northwest Indiana. I attended Indiana University Northwest, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017.

    My passion for dentistry began at a young age when I discovered that oral hygiene wasn't a priority in the Latin community, and I wanted to increase awareness. As a dental hygienist, I strive to provide thorough, high-quality dental care, create customized tips, and offer education tailored to each patient's specific needs. I aim to assist every patient in preventing and managing oral disease to achieve optimal dental and oral health. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy concerts, traveling, volunteering at my church and spending quality time with family and friends.

    Yuliya has been a valued member of our office team for more than eight years. Originally from Ukraine, she now lives in the city's Ukrainian neighborhood with her three sons and their dog.

    She brings dedication, warmth, and positivity to everything she does and takes great pride in helping others. Yuliya values strong teamwork and always strives to create a positive experience for everyone she works with. As a busy mom of three, she knows how to balance work and family life — and somehow still finds time to train for marathons. She loves to travel and believes exploring new places is one of the best ways to grow and stay inspired.

    Born and raised in Michigan (Go Blue!), I began my career in the dental field in 2016 and quickly fell in love with the patient interaction that comes with it. I'm passionate about helping our patients receive the care they deserve so they can enjoy healthy, confident, and beautiful smiles.

    Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our daughter Callie, and our mini Aussiedoodle, Champ. We enjoy traveling and exploring new cities, catching live music, and spending time outdoors. Most days, you'll find me happily chauffeuring Callie to her many activities — dance mom for life! My favorite hobby is cooking. Both of my parents are incredible cooks who inspired my love for great food, and I truly enjoy entertaining and bringing people together over delicious homemade meals. Though I'll always be a proud Michigander at heart, I now call Indiana home... and yes, I commute from Indiana to Chicago because working with Dr. Marcus is worth it.

When I'm not in the office, you'll find me spending time with my two boys, enjoying family time, or discovering new recipes- I love to cook.
